I've actually started a blog about our renovation of Butters
- the house that Thomas and I bought.

I just joined a new photo group site called JPG Magazine.
Adam sent me a link and I'm suddenly hooked.

This sunday, I'll have a little booth set up at the GRRA Romp. I learned about this organization a few months ago when they did an education and adoption day at the Whole Foods Market in Sandy Springs (where I've been working for the past year and some months). They're a very sweet bunch of people, and when they asked me to be a part of their annual picnic, I said sure! Can I bring my business cards?

I just got back from a fantabulous trip to New York City with my best friend, Sus! Can't really stress how wonderful it was to see her and get to reconnect and just hang out.
Our belated 30th Birthday Bash.
We saw Wicked on broadway, ate the most amazing sushi, ran across town in heels (stopping to help an elderly lady across park avenue), had hot chocolate at City Bakery a la Ms. Bradshaw, shopped, peeked in WFM, had vegan food that was YUMMY, met up with Kevin, a cool, sweet friend of Sus' and his friend, Jessie, ummm, ate cake, and lots of other fun stuff.
The best part of all, of course was just knowing that we had time together. Neither of us had to run to another engagement; we could sit around and watch Family Guy and eat microwave popcorn. The joys of doing what you want, opposed to doing what you think you should. . .
I didn't take many pictures, but the few I did take, I like quite a lot.
That's Sus, btw. In her Elphaba shoes, despite some badass blisters.

Thomas and I went to San Francisco for his sister's wedding in July. My first trip to Cali, and I adored it.
I put a ton of pics up on flickr. Yes, I finally gave in; though I have not gone the whole myspace route.

More will be added to this - it was a busy summer - but right now I need to get to bed. I'm an old lady now who leaves for work at 6:30 quite often. So weird, that.
